Arne Tjomsland was one of the country's foremost souvenir designers in the 1950s/60s. He gave shape to figures in wood and whale teeth, inspired by his childhood's polar literature and the Nordic fauna. Tjomsland's work is primarily characterized by the spirit of Scandinavian design with sparing use of materials and elegant lines.
Our publications are bilingual, with all text in both Norwegian and English.
