Norway has several established designers and designers who are not widely known. With the book series NORSK DESIGN OG KUNSTHÅNDVERK, the publisher Papiret wants to introduce our Norwegian designers' life and artisanship. Through this series format, we encourage you to get to know designers other than those you already know. The idea for the series arose in the meeting between Mats Linder and Studiogeist, together we want to highlight our cultural heritage and history in an easily comprehensible format. Hope you find as much joy in these design treasures as we do.

MATS LINDER has for three decades researched design and handicrafts from the Scandinavian countries - Scandinavian Design. Since 2000, he has published several books and written hundreds of professional articles. In 2016, he launched the website matslinder.no and became subject manager for Store norske leksikon.
