Anna-Greta Eker was an important part of the Arts and Crafts organization PLUS in the Old Town in Fredrikstad. With a solid education as a goldsmith in her luggage she became one of the designers of PLUS silversmithy, and it didn’t take long before she was an acknowledged jewellery designer. Together with peers at PLUS, Eker contributed to improve the reputation of Norwegian jewellery art, nationally as well as internationally. Eker also had a career of her own where she investigated unorthodox materials and expressions.
