Norway has several established designers and designers who are not widely known. With the book series NORSK DESIGN OG KUNSTHÅNDVERK, the publisher Papiret wants to introduce our Norwegian designers' life and artisanship. Through this series format, we encourage you to get to know designers other than those you already know. The idea for the series arose in the meeting between Mats Linder and Studiogeist, together we want to highlight our cultural heritage and history in an easily comprehensible format. Hope you find as much joy in these design treasures as we do.

Mats Linder

Mats Linder har i tre tiår forsket på design og kunsthåndverk fra de skandinaviske land – Scandinavian Design. Siden år 2000 har han utgitt flere bøker og skrevet hundrevis av fagartikler. I 2016 lanserte han nettsiden matslinder.no and became topic manager for Store norske leksikon. A goal for Linder with this book series is to raise interest and knowledge about design from Norway.
